Grade 1 Hindi teaching led to this fun, hands-on activity in the classroom. Each child held up a card pairing a familiar picture with the Hindi matra it represents, wearing their word proudly like a crown.
Matching pictures to sounds and saying each word aloud, the children reinforced letter recognition and vocabulary while having genuine fun with the language.
Learning Hindi became something to see, hold, and show off — not just something to read off a page.
